I AM J PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy practices governing the I am J AI Commercial and Enterprise Platforms, the I am J mobile application ("App"), and the I am J Website.
Welcome to the I am J AI Commercial and Enterprise Platforms, the I am J mobile application ("App"), and the I am J Website (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how I am J Corporation (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “J”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, transfers, and safeguards information when you access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.
Mobile Communication Notice
This Privacy Policy contains a dedicated Mobile Information and Text Messaging Data section that explains how mobile information, SMS consent, and text messaging originator opt-in data are handled. Please review that section below.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy is intended to provide clear information about our privacy practices across consumer, commercial, enterprise, educational, humanitarian, and institutional uses of the Service.
Specific products, deployments, pilots, or institutional programs may provide additional privacy notices where local law, contract, deployment context, or the nature of the data requires more detailed information.
2. Information We Collect
We seek to collect only information that is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, operate, and improve the Service.
2.1 Personal Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, account identifier, and related registration details.
- Mobile Contact Information: If you choose to provide it, we may collect your mobile telephone number and records of your SMS opt-in, opt-out, HELP, and related messaging preferences. We use this information only to provide customer care and service-related text messages, maintain consent records, respond to messaging requests, and comply with applicable messaging requirements.
- Support Communications: Name, email address, message contents, attachments, and related information when you contact us.
- User Content: Text, images, audio, prompts, responses, files, and other materials that you submit, upload, create, or generate through AI-enabled features.
- Transaction Information: Subscription status, J-Coin allocation, consumption, top-ups, and transaction references. Payment-card information is generally processed by the applicable app store or payment provider rather than directly by us.
2.2 Optional SOS Emergency Information
Providing SOS-related information is entirely optional. This information is intended only to support the SOS feature when you choose to activate it.
- Emergency Contacts: Names, relationships, phone numbers, email addresses, and optional physical addresses.
- Medical Information: Medications, allergies, pre-existing conditions, or other health-related information that you voluntarily choose to provide.
- Other Voluntary Details: Additional information that you consider important for your designated contacts.
Optional SOS data: SOS information is used only when you expressly provide it and activate the feature. Where supported, it is transmitted through a secure encrypted link with a limited time-to-live expiration and shared only with contacts or recipients designated by you.
SOS Emergency Companion provides informational guidance and triage support only and is not a replacement for professional emergency services. If you are experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately, such as 911 or 112.
The App does not directly contact police, fire, medical, or other public emergency responders. Users may optionally configure personal emergency contacts within their SOS Profile, which the App may notify when the user activates SOS.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, pages visited, session frequency and duration, feature interactions, taps, clicks, in-app searches, diagnostics, and performance information.
- Device and Service Identifiers: App identifiers, account identifiers, anonymous or pseudonymous user IDs, device IDs, and security tokens used for authentication, functionality, analytics, and fraud prevention.
- App and Feature Usage: Feature use, J-Coin transactions, service events, AI inputs and outputs, and related operational logs.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security, measure performance, and improve the website experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information for legitimate and disclosed purposes, including:
- Service Operation: Providing, maintaining, personalizing, securing, and improving the Service, including processing text, images, audio, and other inputs necessary to generate requested AI outputs.
- J-Coin Management: Tracking balances, allocations, consumption, renewals, and top-up transactions.
- SOS Functionality: Processing optional SOS information only when you provide it and activate the feature.
- Notifications: Providing service updates, security notices, low-balance alerts, subscription information, and support communications.
- Service Improvement: Performing analytics, troubleshooting, quality review, accessibility improvement, performance optimization, and product development.
- Customer Support: Responding to requests, investigating issues, and resolving technical or account-related problems.
- Security and Reliability: Detecting fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, system instability, abuse, crashes, and threats to users or infrastructure.
- Legal and Contractual Compliance: Meeting applicable legal obligations and enforcing our agreements and policies.
No cross-app advertising tracking:
We do not track users across unrelated apps or websites for behavioral advertising or external profiling. We do not sell personal information.
4. Legal Basis for Processing — EEA and United Kingdom
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our processing may rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Service, manage accounts, deliver subscriptions, and respond to user requests.

- Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, accounting requirements, or regulatory obligations.
- Protection of Vital Interests: In limited circumstances, processing may be necessary to protect a person’s life or physical safety, where permitted by law.

- SOS Recipients: Optional SOS information may be shared with contacts designated by the user when the user activates the feature.
- Legal Requirements: When disclosure is required by law, legal process, court order, or a valid request from a competent authority.
- Protection and Security: Where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, systems, property, or services.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction. Nothing in this provision authorizes the disclosure of mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile Information and Text Messaging Data
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
